Hi I’m Amy.

Welcome to Independently Driven, where I believe everyone deserves the freedom and independence that comes with driving.

Before becoming a driving instructor, I spent years in employment services, where I saw firsthand how not having a driver's licence can hold people back — from jobs, opportunities, and simply living life on their own terms. I also noticed there weren't many female instructors on the road. So I decided to do something about it.

Now a qualified Motor Driving Instructor, I'm passionate about helping learners of all ages and backgrounds build real confidence behind the wheel. My lessons are patient, supportive, and tailored to you — whether you're a nervous first-timer, an apprentice needing your licence for work, or someone who's put off learning for years.

I'm a registered preferred provider with CITB, offering eligible apprentices free driving lessons as an incentive, and I'm a vendor with the Department of Child Protection. I also partner with community organisations across Adelaide's south to help people break down barriers and move forward in life.

  • A minimum of 90 minute bookings are required - $160*

    Additional time can be requested.

    *Specialised driver training may incur additional cost

  • That is dependant on how much training you complete outside of your driving lessons.

  • I am qualified to teach you how to safely and confidently attempt to pass your VORT Assessment/ Test.

  • No, I am not an exiaminer. I can only train you to attempt to pass your assessment/ test.

  • I only service the Noarlunga area, and if you are out of this radius, meeting at Colonnades Car Park 7 is required to keep the lesson efficient.

  • The training car is an automatic Toyota Rav 4.

  • Yes. The training car has a dual braking system on the passenger side.
